| Winter training We travel above the tree-line to the Hardangervidda area in Central Norway, where the snow conditions provide us with optimum learning opportunities. For this course, it is a requirement that you can already use cross-country skis and have some experience of being in the outdoors. During this week's training, we will transform you from thinking and skiing like a tourist to becoming a polar explorer! You will have the opportunity to learn the most efficient way to use the skis, find out about the most recent developments in equipment, nutrition, training and preparations. We will also cover the safety aspects and routines for polar travel. |
