Kilimanjaro is one of the mountain journeys in the world where you experience the most variation in terrain ascending just the one peak, and at 5895m above sea level it is the world's highest free-standing mountain. In spite of the height and the fact that it is one of the ‘seven summits' many people have a good possibility of making it to the top successfully.
